TREEBERG WAREHOUSE
How the warehouse is set up
The questions that usually come up before the first batch: where the warehouse is, what happens to the goods day by day, how stock is counted, what happens with returns, customs duty and the price.
As of 1 October 2026

How goods get into the warehouse
You ship the goods with your own carrier, on pallets or in boxes. If the batch comes from outside the EU, we can take care of certification, transport, storage and onward delivery across Europe on request, so you do not have to look for a separate forwarder.
- We agree a dateYou tell us when and how the batch arrives; we check that the paperwork is in order.
- The batch arrives at the warehouseUnloading during working hours, Mon–Fri 08:30–16:30.
- Receiving and inspectionWe count, check against the delivery note and inspect the packaging.
- The goods go into stockEvery item gets its place and appears in the stock records.
Storage and stock records
Storage is flexible: pallets or shelves, depending on what your goods are and how much of them there is. The warehouse is clean and organised, every item has its place, and every movement is documented: receipt, stock, dispatch.
- Pallet or shelf storage in one warehouse; the goods are not scattered across locations.
- Stock is counted digitally from the moment of receipt rather than once a month at stocktaking.
- Space adapts to seasonal peaks and growth, without a lease of your own.
- The same quality and speed from 10 to 1,000 orders a day.
What you see, and where
Stock, inbound, shipments and returns are visible in the THub portal. If you already have a system of your own, we do not make you switch: we connect to it.

Picking, packing, labelling
Orders are assembled, packed and labelled to the carrier's standards, so that the parcel goes through without delay and can be tracked from the warehouse to the buyer's door.

Returns
Returns come to the Treeberg warehouse. We record them with Photo Proof and send you the key data right away. You see what came back and in what condition, and decide what happens next yourself: back on sale, set aside or disposed of.
Marketplaces and shops
The warehouse can act as a staging point before batches go to Amazon fulfilment centres, or ship directly to end customers; that is your choice for every batch.
- Amazon FBA: we prepare and label batches to Amazon's requirements and send them to their warehouses.
- Amazon FBM, Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce: we pick and ship orders from our warehouse.
The €3 duty: why it does not apply to orders from Germany
From 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2028, online orders shipped to buyers in the EU from outside it carry a 3-euro duty per item line when the goods in the parcel are worth up to 150 euros, shipping excluded. An item line is one line of the customs declaration. The Commission's example: five identical T-shirts cost 3 euros in duty, a T-shirt and a watch 6 euros. After 1 July 2028 the regular duty rates are due to apply to such parcels.
From the warehouse in Germany an order already travels inside the EU, so these 3 euros do not apply. The goods themselves are imported once under the usual rules: the duty rate depends on the goods and their origin, and for goods from countries with a free trade agreement with the EU it is often 0%.
Source: European Commission. This is the general rule, not tax advice: the specific case depends on the goods and the country of origin.
What the price is made of
The price depends on three things: how much space the goods take (pallet or shelf), how many orders a month there are and where they go. There are no hidden fees. Everything that goes into the calculation is visible in the calculation itself.
- Storage: by volume and duration.
- Picking and packing: per order, by weight and size.
- Shipping: by the carrier's rate and destination.
- Extra services: only the ones you choose.
You can work it out yourself in a few minutes on the pricing page.
