We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our services. Processing is carried out in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German data protection law.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on a server operated by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (AWS), 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, located in the Frankfurt am Main, Germany data centre. AWS acts as a data processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of our website).

When you visit our website, the server automatically records the following data in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, name and URL of the requested file, referring website, browser and operating system, and access provider. This data is deleted after a maximum of 14 days.

4. Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details (name, email address, message) will be stored to process your request and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to customer enquiries). Data is deleted when no longer necessary, at the latest after 3 years.

5. Analytics

Umami Analytics

We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly open-source web analytics tool, self-hosted on our own server in Germany (stats.treeberg.de). No cookies are set, no personal data is transferred to third parties, and no IP addresses are stored. All statistical data remains on our server.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing website usage). No consent is required as no personal data is processed.

6. Marketing

Google Ads / Google Tag

With your consent, we use Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to run advertising and measure conversions via Google Tag (ID: AW-18275403982). We use Google Consent Mode v2, meaning tracking is only activated after your explicit consent. Data may be transferred to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
